Location: Set amidst emerald green pastures where the foothills of the Outeniqua mountains sweep down to the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, lies Kurland, the luxury country hotel, established by the Baroness Dianne Behr on the age-old Behr family estate near Plettenberg Bay, along the famous Garden Route.

Description: Kurland has twelve tastefully decorated and spacious rooms - designed to cater for the guests every comfort with large spaces, comfortable sofas and embossed linen on the beds. Ceiling fans ensure that guests are kept cool in the hot summers and large fireplaces can be used in the winter months. The spacious bathrooms are equipped with heated towel rails and underfloor heating.

The rooms are individually styled and display some enviable objects d'art, antique furniture and original oil paintings. For the convenience of guests all rooms have telephones, satellite television and mini bars. Eight of the rooms have private plunge pools. Ten of the bedrooms have loft rooms especially designed for children
