The Table Bay is situated adjacent to the Victoria AND
Alfred Waterfront shopping and entertainment complex
overlooking the Cape Town harbour and is five minutes
from the city centre.
DESCRIPTION:
The interior of the hotel presents a kaleidoscope of
impressions, from the European marble mosaic of the
entrance court to the intricate parquet floor of the
foyer framed by the full-scale drama of Table Mountain,
with the activity of the harbour in the foreground.
Below the foyer to the south, is the grand lounge with
its cathedral ceiling and twin fireplaces. A nearby
dock, capable of accommodating an ocean liner, is at
the threshold of the restaurant. The restaurant has
a private dining bay and Wine Cellar, and panoramic
views of the mountain range and harbour. It has a maritime
flavor that extends to each room and suite, which has
sea or mountain views and is a luxurious port of call.

• Atlantic Grill Room; Capacity: 120 seats. Open
for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. The restaurant serves
buffet style breakfast, ala carte lunch and dinner specialising
in South African and Asian cuisine. The selection changes
frequently. Incorporated in the restaurant is the private,
ten-seater Captains Table, overlooking the VANDA harbour
and is available for use by corporations who regularly
entertain small groups of clients and associates.
• Conservatory;
Open for Breakfast and Dinner. Closed on Sunday and
Monday. Capacity: 60 seats total. Intimate style and
refreshing food, wine and ambience to saturate the senses.
The Conservatory offers relaxed fire dining with chic
cuisine. Combinations of food and wine of varied portion
sizes.
• Pool
Bar; The Pool Bar serves drinks, snacks and health
food on the deck around the pool which overlooks the
Atlantic Ocean. Operating Hours: 10h00 - 20h00 daily.
• Lounge
/ Patio: The lounge with its roaring log fires
in winter is an ideal escape and serves tea, coffee,
light snacks and drinks. A speciality of the lounge
