CTS 032 - From Mombasa - Tsavo - Amboseli - Aberdares - Mt. Kenya Region - Samburu - Baringo - L. Naivasha - Masai Mara - Mombasa (13 Days)

This program visits the Northern sector of Kenya and also the southern sector giving you a total contrast to the terrain and the people of Kenya. The final highlight will be spent in Mombasa at the beach.

Day 1: Arrive in Mombasa checking in at a hotel for accommodation on Halfboard.

Day 2: Full day spent at leisure visiting places like the Fort Jesus, short walk through the Old Town with it's narrow alleys and carved doors and overhanging balconies. You will visit the Old Dhow Habour where Arab dhows can be seen before proceeding to the Akamba Handicraft Industry where there is a great variety of wood carvings. Accommodation in a Hotel.

Day 3: After breakfast leave for Tsavo arriving in time for lunch. Later drive to the Park for an afternoon game drive. The drive will take you to the famous Tsavo River, which flows west to east through the national park; it borders the Chyulu Hills National Park, and the Mkomazi Game Reserve in Tanzania. This is the only place you may see the famous black man eater lions. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4: A pre-breakfast game drive then breakfast before proceeding to Amboseli National Park at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro checking in at the lodge for lunch. Afternoon game viewing then return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: A full day game viewing in this park searching for lions, cheetah, elephant, buffalo, rhino and numerous species of plain's game. You will have the chance to view and photograph the largest herds of Elephants in Kenya, numerous birds species, all posing against the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at Overnight at the Lodge FB

Day 6: After breakfast depart for Aberdare Country Club which is Secreted deep within the country’s largest forest reserve, the lodge offers the clarity of mountain air, the tranquility of the forest, a colorful parade of wildlife, and the chance of scaling the icy peaks of Kenya’s highest mountain. View game from the hotel’s balconies as the animals visit the watering hole and salt lick arriving in time for lunch. Later in the afternoon proceed to 'The Ark' for overnight game viewing.

Day 7: Breakfast then leave for Samburu arriving in time for lunch at the Lodge. There is an afternoon game viewing in this reserve famous for its reticulated giraffe, somali ostrich, grevy zebra and many leopards. The lodge overlooks the riverbank where herds of elephant, buffalo and zebra come daily for water. The Reserve has its own indigenous wildlife unique to the region including the gerenuk, Somali ostrich and the endangered grevy’s zebra.  Enjoy an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge at sunset. Day 8: Full day game viewing in a mini-bus with pop-up roof searching for animals. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

Day 9: Early morning pick up from your hotel and leave for Naivasha richly endowed with birds and hippopotamus. Lunch at the Lakeside hotel. In the evening drive to the Lake which is a bird watcher's paradise where you will have achance to see the hippos in groups. Dinner and overnight at the Sopa lodge

Day 10: After breakfast drive across the plains to reach for afternoon game viewing which will doubtless offer the sight of the huge black-manned lions for which the Mara is justly famous. Overnight at the Lodge.

Day 11: Full day game viewing in a mini-bus with pop up roof searching for elephants, cheetah, buffalo among other plains game. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge

Day 12: Another full day game viewing with long drive to Mara River where you view hippos and crocodiles. Afternoon at leisure where we have an optional visit to Maasai Village. Accomodation at the Lodge.

Day 13: Morning game drive returning to the Lodge for breakfast before returning to Nairobi reaching by early afternoon. Later you will be transfered to the Railway Station to catch your train back to Mombasa.

CTS 031 - From Mombasa - Tsavo - Amboseli - Mombasa (8 Days)

Day 1: Pick up from the airport then transfer to a hotel for an overnight.

Day 2: After breakfast , A Mombasa city tour. Afternoon at leisure on the Beach Hotel.

Day 3: Morning pick up from the Hotel then proceed to Tsavo National Park the biggest National Park in Kenya. You will view elephants, lions, zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, impalas and numerous species of plains game and birds are found here. All meals and accommodation at the Lodge/camp.

Day 4: A pre-breakfast game drive then breakfast before departing for Amboseli National Park at the foot below Mt. Kilimanjaro where you view rhinos, elephants, zebras, wildebeest, buffalos at the background of Africa's highest Mt Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/camp.

Day 5: Full day game viewing in this park with breaks for meals. Accommodation at the Lodge/camp.

Day 6: An early morning game drive before departing for Mombasa reaching by early afternoon for an overnight in a hotel.

Day 7: A free day in Mombasa when you do your shopping preparing for the next destination.

Day 8: Catch your flight back home.
