Day
1: Nairobi/ Masai Mara
After breakfast depart for Masai Mara game reserve stopping
at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint and at Narok town
for lunch. Arrive in time for a late afternoon game
drive in this park which is essentially the northern
extension of Tanzania’s Serengeti National park
as an artificial border separates the two. Dinner and
overnight at the budget campsite.

Day
2: Masai Mara
Early breakfast followed by a full day of game drives
within the reserve. The masai Mara is famous for its
black manned lions, elephants and buffalo that make
three out of the big five though luck is essential for
spotting the other two namely rhino and leopard. The
park animal concentration is second to none and numerous
plains game including antelopes, wildebeest, zebra,
and Masai giraffe can be seen as well as scavengers
like hyena and vulture. Have a picnic lunch at the hippo
pool where you can spot crocodiles and hippos basking
on the rocks. Return to the campsite in time for dinner
and overnight.

Day
3: Masai Mara
After breakfast, have another morning of tracking game
with your guide in this reserve. This is where the annual
migration of close 800,000 zebras and wildebeest occurs
between the two parks. Return to the campsite for lunch.
In the afternoon there is a choice between a game drive
and a nature walk escorted by our armed Masai guides
or a visit to a local Masai village to see their nomadic
lifestyle at an extra cost. Dinner and overnight at
the campsite.
Day
4: Masai Mara/ Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, have your final game drive in this
park before departing for Lake Nakuru National park
with a stop for lunch en route. You will have scenic
view of Lake Naivasha and Mt Longonot which are in the
Great Rift Valley from afar on the main highway. Arrive
in time for dinner and overnight at our budget capsite.
Day
5: Lake Nakuru/ Samburu
Leave for a morning game drive after breakfast in Lake
Nakuru National park, which has a fantastic of bird
life including flamingos, white pelicans and marabou
stork. You may spot white rhino and the rare Rothschild’s
giraffe that has five horns instead of the usual three
and clear instead of spotted shanks (legs). A visit
to baboon cliff offers a scenic view of the lake below
and acacia forest. After game drive, depart for Samburu
via the Thompson fall. Lunch and game en route to the
campsite.

Day
6: Samburu
Morning and afternoon game-viewing sessions tracking
the rare drought resistant animals species which can
only be seen north of the equator; these animals are;
the reticulated giraffe,grevy’s zebra, the gerenuk
or giraffe –gazelle, beisa Oryx and the blue shanked
Somali ostrich. The ewaso Nyiro River traverse this
park, its source being the Aberdare ranges. There are
therefore very high chances of spotting crocodiles in
a natural environment though its water level varies
seasonally. You will have lunch and leisure break in
the mid afternoon. Rest of the meals and overnight at
the campsite.
Day
7: Samburu/ Mt Kenya
After breakfast, depart Samburu for Mt Kenya for Lunch
at the campsite on the foothills of the mountain with
scenic views of the snow capped peaks - if the weather
permits. Afternoon trek to the Mau Mau caves with folklore
on how these famous caves gave the freedom fighters
sanctuary from the colonial British Army. Return to
the camp site in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Day
8: Mt Kenya / Nairobi
Depart Mt Kenya for Nairobi in the mid morning and enjoy
a scenic drive back to Nairobi arriving in the Kenyan
capital in timee for lunch.

Entrances to all parks and other places where entry fees is applied
Transport to all the places in safari Mimi-bus with a pop up roof for easy photography and viewing of animals while in the park.
Three meals a day namely (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
Accommodation in campsites and in budget hotels where camping is not applicable
All camping equipments except sleeping bags
